PicMotion Pro

PicMotion Pro turns static images into moving ones, aimed at both casual users and people producing content regularly.

Users pick from a range of motion effects to animate a photo — cinemagraph-style loops, moving backgrounds, dynamic presentation pieces — then fine-tune speed, direction and intensity rather than accepting a preset. Filters and effects add depth, text overlays and stickers carry a message, and imported music sets the mood. Finished pieces share directly to social platforms, send as messages, or save to the device.

The brief was power without a learning curve: the effect controls had to be granular enough to be worth using and simple enough that someone who is not a photographer gets a good result on the first try, with rendering fast enough to stay on the phone.
