How we work
A repeatable process built for shipping software that lasts.
Every engagement moves through this arc. Weekly demos, working software at every checkpoint, and a delivery plan we hold ourselves to.

Discover
Phase 01Understand the business, the users, and the constraints — before writing a line of code. We ride along with your team, sit in on operations, and audit the systems you already have. You'll leave discovery with a shared vocabulary, a documented current state, and unambiguous success criteria that everyone can point to.
What you get out of this phase
- Stakeholder interviews and user shadowing sessions
- Systems + data audit of what exists today
- Success metrics agreed by product, engineering, and business
- Risk register with owners and mitigation notes

Strategy & Design
Phase 02Scope, sequence, and success criteria on one page. High-fidelity flows and interfaces validated with real users. We shape the product with the people who'll use it — clinicians, drivers, analysts, operators — not in a design vacuum. Nothing enters build until we can defend every screen.
What you get out of this phase
- Product one-pager: what it is, what it isn't, who it serves
- Sitemap, IA, and end-to-end user flows
- High-fidelity Figma prototypes, tested with 5+ real users
- Design system tokens + component inventory

Architect & Build
Phase 03Data model, system boundaries, and delivery plan agreed with your engineering leadership. Then two-week sprints with working software at every checkpoint — no big-bang reveals at the end. You see progress weekly on staging, and every commit runs through CI, code review, and automated tests before it hits main.
What you get out of this phase
- Architecture decision records (ADRs) for every non-trivial call
- Infrastructure as code — Terraform / Pulumi from day one
- CI/CD pipeline with preview environments per pull request
- Bi-weekly demo builds shared to a stakeholder-only channel

Quality & Launch
Phase 04Automated testing, load testing, and security review before anyone talks about a launch date. Phased rollout with observability, feature flags, and rollback plans in place before the first real user sees anything new. If something goes wrong at 2am, your on-call knows exactly which switch to flip.
What you get out of this phase
- Load + soak tests against production-like traffic profiles
- Third-party security review (OWASP top 10 + your specifics)
- Feature flag + gradual rollout plan (1% → 10% → 100%)
- Runbooks for the top 20 things that can go wrong in prod

Scale & Support
Phase 05Ongoing support, optimization, and the next quarter of features. We stay through the boring quarters, not just the launch photo. Monthly reliability reviews, quarterly cost audits, and a roadmap that evolves with what you learn from real users — because the software that ships is never the same as the software that lasts.
What you get out of this phase
- Named on-call rotation with defined SLAs (P1 → P3)
- Monthly reliability review: uptime, latency, error budgets
- Quarterly cloud-cost audit + optimization recommendations
- Product roadmap reviewed with your team every 6 weeks
