Goldsmith Lab turns the arithmetic every jewellery counter repeats all day into a single fast calculation. Enter the weight, the making charges and GST, and it returns the correct buying and selling price for gold or silver — including rates across karat grades, with 22k, 18k and 14k handled directly.
It is built for whoever is holding the piece: wholesalers, retailers and walk-in customers all need the same number and need to agree on it. Getting there by hand invites disputes, and small errors on precious-metal weights are expensive ones.
The product constraint was precision under speed. Prices must be exact for a given weight and computed instantly, with the calculation transparent enough that both sides of the counter can see how the figure was reached.
